Toxic Waste in our neighborhood?

We’ve got solid information about nickel and cadmium deposits in the land in one residential lot in our neighborhood – in this case within the 11218 zip code; we’ll be providing further information once we sort out inserting a data map in this blog. But if anyone is aware of similar conditions in the area please post in the comments or contact us directly at jonathan dot soroko at hotmail dot com.

  1. I did soil tests before I started a garden when I was renting at 5 Stratford at corner of Caton. Based on high cadmium and lead levels, I decided against disturbing soil at all. I might be able to dig up the soil test if you want it.
